About the piece
These classic shapes tea cups are light and delicate. The outside glaze has a nice complexity to it, with tiny cristals on a black background. Its light color inside allowing for appreciation of the tea color.
About my work
I make every piece by hand in my small Chiang Mai studio. My work is shaped by my love for tea and my studies of oriental teawares. From working in a teahouse in Montreal to sourcing teas throughout northern Thailand, I have developped a unique style in my ceramics: one of a tea enthusiast. Each pot is made to be used, balancing function with a creative spin.
