About these pieces
A tea pitcher, or fairness cup, is used as an intermediary vessel, between the teapot and the cups. It allows to pour all the tea at once and stop the infusion at the desired time, and then serve equal liquor into each cups.
About my work
I make every piece by hand in my small Chiang Mai studio. My work is shaped by my love for tea and my studies of oriental teawares. From working in a teahouse in Montreal to sourcing teas throughout northern Thailand, I have developped a unique style in my ceramics: one of a tea enthusiast. Each pot is made to be used, balancing function with a creative spin.
