About the piece
These classic shapes tea cups can hold around 150 ml of water minimum. The outside is left raw, exposing the sandy texture of the lightly grogged clay, while the inside is glazed satin white, allowing full appreciation of the tea color.
About my work
I make every piece by hand in my small Chiang Mai studio. My work is shaped by my love for tea and my studies of oriental teawares. From working in a teahouse in Montreal to sourcing teas throughout northern Thailand, I have developped a unique style in my ceramics: one of a tea enthusiast. Each pot is made to be used, balancing function with a creative spin.
