This wheel-thrown ceramic teapot is made for Gong Fu Cha and everyday loose leaf tea brewing. It is a one-of-a-kind piece, made by my hands in Chiang Mai, Thailand, using local clay and homemade glazes.

WHY ITS A SECOND

The lid warped in the kiln and was grinded down to fit again, but it is not perfect.

About my work

I make every piece by hand in my small Chiang Mai studio. My work is shaped by my love for tea and my studies of oriental teawares. From working in a teahouse in Montreal to sourcing teas throughout northern Thailand, I have developped a unique style in my ceramics: one of a tea enthusiast. Each pot is made to be used, balancing function with a creative spin.
