Ceramic Tea Jar

This wheel-thrown ceramic Jar is meant to store you loose leaf tea. The lid sits tightly on the gallery so that no air gets in or out. It is a one-of-a-kind piece, made by my hands in Chiang Mai, Thailand, using local clay and homemade glazes.

About this piece

This jar is perfect to keep and store tea. The unglazed interior allows for a little bit of breathing, while the lid is tightly closed.

About my work

I make every piece by hand in my small Chiang Mai studio. My work is shaped by my love for tea and my studies of oriental teawares. From working in a teahouse in Montreal to sourcing teas throughout northern Thailand, I have developped a unique style in my ceramics: one of a tea enthusiast. Each pot is made to be used, balancing function with a creative spin.
