Get the next release →This ceramic tea cup is made for Gong Fu Cha and everyday loose leaf tea brewing. It is a one-of-a-kind piece, made by my hands in Chiang Mai, Thailand, using local clay and homemade glazes.

Firing: Cone 10 reduction in a gas kiln
About the piece
This shaped cup is rough on the outside, and smooth inside. The light color of the inside glaze allows to appreciate the color of the tea.
About my work
I make every piece by hand in my small Chiang Mai studio. My work is shaped by my love for tea and my studies of oriental teawares. From working in a teahouse in Montreal to sourcing teas throughout northern Thailand, I have developped a unique style in my ceramics: one of a tea enthusiast. Each pot is made to be used, balancing function with a creative spin.
